Shuffle your deck and get ready to slay demons. Carefully balance your 'corruption' meter to maximize your turn. Each card comes with a risk that will grow with every move you make.

Tips:

Sometimes, it is better to press the 'End Turn' button and tank 1-2 damage to lower your corruption!
Powerful cards are gained from the altar! If you manage to get one of these cards early, it will dramatically change the run.
If you ever want to review what an icon means, look in the top right corner for a handy guide!
Finally, be kind to yourself and have patience; this is largely a game of chance and will usually require multiple runs to defeat the boss.
